This is one step before the image below this but i like how this one looks more as the simpler colours seem to just work better. The stance of the character also gives an insight in to how they are feeling or what their personality is like, the heroic / victorious champion look is what i was going for here as my character is a strong proud man and i hope it shows in the stance as much as it can.
This is the same picture as above but in photoshop before i used illustrator to live trace (best illustrator tool in my opinion) it to give it the live trace effect.
These are edits of an image i put up earlier in the blog. They are coloured in photoshop mainly using the paint brush tool with low opacity especially the one with a light shine to it. These images are around the point i decided to move on to a different pose and perspective shown in the images above.
These are some rough ideas i took a few little things from to get to where i am with my character now and thought them important to include as it might give a clearer idea of how i got to my later character.
